Photographs can’t freeze time. Nothing can.
But they do have this incredible way of reminding us how special it really was.
The tiny newborn stretches, the belly laughs, the silliness and sweet little voices.
One day, the photos we’re in with our little people might be the closest thing we have to going back.

A studio made for slowing down
THE WISH PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
My favourite place.
Three years ago, my husband and I built the Wish Photography Studio – a warm, welcoming space where families can slow down for a little while.
It’s calm, comfortable and filled with beautiful natural light. A place where babies can be babies, children can be children, and parents can simply enjoy the moment without worrying about the little things.
From the client wardrobe filled with dresses for mum and gorgeous wraps, blankets and newborn outfits, everything has been thoughtfully prepared so you can walk through the door and feel completely at ease.

no two families are the same
And I wouldn’t want them to be.
Some babies need another feed halfway through.
Some toddlers need to explore before they’ll come anywhere near the camera.
Some mums need a little reassurance before stepping in front of the lens.
(And trust me… dads usually leave wondering what they were worried about.)
After photographing families for more than 13 years, I’ve learnt that my job isn’t to control the moment.
It’s to notice it.
To read the room.
To slow down when we need to.
To gently guide when it helps.
And to embrace the beautiful chaos for exactly what it is.
