We booked in with Katherine a few years back, after being recommended to her and liking her style. My firstborn was six months when Katherine captured the beginning of his cheeky personality and contagious smile. My only regret at the time was I wasn’t organised enough to book in for a newborn session.
Fast forward to January 2019 and I made sure I booked before giving birth to ensure I didn’t miss capturing the newborn stage this time round. We had Ava’s shoot at 11 days old and the end product was more than I imagined! Katherine’s professional, kind nature and eye for detail really shone through. She takes on board what style you envision for the shoot as well as makes suggestions based on her professional knowledge and experience. She captured Ava’s adorable profile and personality in such a natural and minimalistic way which was exactly what we wanted.
On the advice of Katherine, we mixed our session up and had Ava posing with some props also and the images are so beautiful. We also had some family photos taken and Katherine’s ability to get great results with an uncooperative toddler on the day was remarkable.
We ordered two canvas prints and some matted cotton printed and they look AMAZING! We often get compliments on them by guests.
