Welcome to Wish Photography and thank you for considering us to capture your families love story! We love what we do and we love meeting new and exisiting families. It’s always an honour to be asked to capture each families story, and we hope that our photos reflect how much passion we ignite into each photoshoot we do.
As an all inclusive, full service photography studio, we will help you from the beginning, right thru to the end when you collect your beautiful art work.
Your Family Photography Adelaide session will begin with us getting to know everyone in your family. By the end of your session, we hope that you will feel more like friends than clients.
We want to capture the most authentic moments between you and your family – so becoming friends, if only for a moment in time – is really important to us!
Our sessions are usually fast paced. We move with the energy of the kids. While we encourage a lot of play during our sessions, we also want to get that perfect balance and capture individual portraits.
Our style of photography is both casual and natural, as we feel the best images are taken when you are less aware of the camera. While we will not pose you, we will certainly offer a lot of direction to ensure you aren’t feeling stiff or awkward in front of the camera.
We will not ask you to look and say cheese, instead we will softly guide you into the most beautiful light and encourage and direct you to connect, play, kiss and cuddle each another.

Styling
We provide you with a styling guide to help you choose clothing that reflects you and your family.
During your pre-session design consultation we will discuss your outfit options to ensure you and your family are going to look and feel great at your Family Photography Adelaide photoshoot.
Location
All of our sunset family sessions take place at Adelaide’s Western suburb beaches, with your choice of either Largs Bay Beach and sand dunes or West Beach.
These sessions take place Monday to Thursday and start approximately 45 minutes prior to sunset. This last light of the day, known as ‘the Golden Hour’ is optimal for portrait photography, providing beautiful light that makes your photos come alive.
If you are more of a morning person, we can arrange beach sunrise sessions upon request.
What happens after your photoshoot
Approximately one week after your session, you’ll be invited back into our studio at West Lakes for your presentation, design and ordering appointment.
This is a really exciting day for everyone! Together we will sit down to watch a video slideshow of your beautiful photos captured on the day of your session. Once you have seen all of your photos I will help you choose a package to suit your style, your home and your budget. With cutting edge studio software, we are able to mock up wall groupings with all of your favourite images. This way you will be able to see exactly what your photos will look like on your walls.
Once your order is placed it will go into production. Within 2 to 6 weeks (depending on your order) you will be able to collect your artwork and take it straight home to it’s forever home.

All our outdoor sessions start approximately 45 minutes prior to sunset.
This time changes throughout the year.
For younger children, you might want to consider booking your session in April, May, August or September, when the sun sets earlier.
We specialise in beach portrait photography.
Choose between Largs Bay and Sand Dunes or West Beach
We get heavily booked between September and April. If you would like to secure a booking during these months, you are best to secure a date a few months ahead.
We provide you with a styling guide to help you choose clothing that reflects you and your family.
